About the role
The interface is where HeroApply earns trust. Our frontend engineers care deeply about detail — motion, typography, responsiveness and accessibility — and about the confidence a well-made screen gives someone in a stressful moment.
You will work closely with design to bring new experiences to life and to keep the existing product feeling effortless as it grows.
What you will do
- Build responsive, accessible interfaces across our web products.
- Partner with designers to refine interactions and bring them to life with precision.
- Maintain and evolve our shared component library and design system.
- Measure and improve performance as experienced by real users.
- Champion accessibility and consistency across every surface.
What you bring
- Solid experience shipping modern web interfaces in production.
- A strong eye for design detail and a habit of getting it right.
- Deep knowledge of web standards, accessibility and performance.
- Comfort collaborating closely with designers and product managers.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Nice to have
- Experience contributing to a design system.
- Motion and animation craft.
- Familiarity with localisation.
