Terms of use
Last updated 14 August 2026
These terms cover your use of HeroApply. By joining the waitlist or using the product you agree to them. They are written plainly rather than in legal boilerplate.
HeroApply is in private testing
The product is not generally available. There is nothing to buy, access is by invitation, and features can change or stop working without notice. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee you access.
Applications are sent in your name
HeroApply fills in and submits job applications as you, using the details you gave it. You are responsible for what it sends. That means keeping your resume and your saved answers accurate and truthful, and reviewing your settings so the agent applies to the kind of roles you actually want. We are not responsible for the outcome of any application, including one submitted to a job you would not have chosen.
Job boards have their own rules
HeroApply works by operating LinkedIn and Indeed on your behalf in your own browser. Automating those sites is against their terms of service, and they may restrict or close an account they believe is automated. You use HeroApply on those sites at your own risk. We pace activity to reduce that risk; we cannot remove it.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself and do not share your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.
What you may not do
- Use HeroApply to send information you know to be false.
- Use it on behalf of someone else without their knowledge.
- Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Use it for anything unlawful.
Ending access
You can stop using HeroApply at any time and ask us to delete your information. We may suspend or end access to the private test at any time, for any reason.
No warranty
HeroApply is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. Job boards change their pages, applications fail, and the agent can misread a form. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will get you a job.
Limit of responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of HeroApply — including lost opportunities, lost earnings, or action taken against your account by a job board.
Changes and contact
These terms will change as the product does; the date at the top is when they last did. Questions go to support@heroapply.com.
